iSuoChemAppearance:
Opaque, white to off-white liquidiSuoChem's acrylic emulsions (such as the exterior wall series) use a pure acrylic system and have passed strict weather resistance testing. In simulated outdoor environment experiments such as UV aging and high/low temperature cycling, the coating can guarantee no significant chalking or fading for over 15 years. For tropical high-humidity and high-temperature environments, some products contain silicone-modified components, resulting in superior stain resistance and rain streak resistance. They have been applied in numerous high-rise building projects in Southeast Asia, with positive feedback from actual users.
Have you used acrylic emulsions before? For example, Dow's Primal™ series or BASF's Acronal® series?

1. For Building Decoration and Protection:
Acrylic emulsions are the base binder for a wide range of interior and exterior wall coatings. They can be used to formulate low-odor and odorless interior wall coatings, including premium artistic coatings, to meet the needs of health-conscious consumers and those seeking immediate occupancy. For exterior walls, specialized emulsions form the basis of high-performance exterior coatings, offering key advantages such as superior weather resistance, self-cleaning properties, excellent stain resistance, and high-gloss or durable matte finishes. Textured and elastic coatings for exterior walls rely on high-performance, flexible acrylic emulsions to fill cracks and maintain their aesthetic appeal under thermal and mechanical stress.
2. For Protective Primers and Functional Coatings:
The versatility of acrylic emulsions also extends to their application as essential base and intermediate coatings. They are used in general-purpose primers, sealing primers, and penetrating primers to ensure optimal adhesion, seal pores, and unify the substrate for easier topcoat application. In more complex systems, specific emulsions are formulated as resilient intermediate coats and water-based colored particle primers, as part of a complete exterior wall coating system, providing texture, color effects, and enhanced durability.
3. For Waterproofing and Construction Applications:
Acrylic emulsions are essential in construction-grade waterproofing solutions. They are key components of JS I/II/III waterproofing coatings, one-component resilient waterproofing coatings, and waterproofing emulsions for mortars. These emulsions form a flexible, seamless waterproof membrane suitable for roofs (including metal roofs), basements, and damp areas. They are also used in transparent waterproofing products for historic building facades, wall adhesives, and tile backing interfaces to improve bond strength and prevent water seepage.
4. For Industrial and Specialty Adhesives and Coatings:
Beyond coatings, acrylic emulsions are used in industrial applications as high-performance adhesives. They are formulated as two-component floor coatings for heavy-duty surfaces, PVC floor adhesives, and specialty adhesives for construction, such as one-component and two-component stone backing adhesives. Their excellent adhesion, transparency, and corrosion resistance make them suitable for demanding bonding applications in the building materials industry.
