The UV resin should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid UV resin exposure to sunlight and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 40°C. Under normal conditions, the storage stability is at least 6 months.
Q: What are UV oligomers?
A:UV Oligomers (also called UV prepolymers), the core components of UV varnishes, come in three main types: epoxy acrylates (fast-drying, chemically resistant, but brittle); polyester acrylates (flexible, with good adhesion but poor durability); and polyurethane acrylates (abrasion-resistant, highly elastic, but expensive and slow to cure). Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, and selection should be based on the material (such as rigidity or flexibility) and performance requirements (such as hardness or toughness).
UV oligomers are relatively high molecular weight materials. It offers vital properties to UV printing inks, UV Varnish, UV coatings, and adhesives. It is designed to enhance the curing speed, durability and quality of various printed materials
Q: What is the relationship between UV Resins and UV Oligomers?
A:These UV oligomers serve as the "backbone" of the UV resin system. Together with other ingredients such as reactive diluents and photoinitiators, they form the complete UV resin product and directly determine the key properties of the cured coating (such as hardness, flexibility, and durability). The choice of oligomer is therefore central to UV resin formulation design.
